Wisconsin Dells has many attractions: Movie theater, nightclubs, restaurants, bars, casino, nature trails, waterparks, amusement parks, and state natural parks. You can purchase an Employee Fun Card for $15 and visit most of the attractions for free! There are also community cultural events held for every group.
All students are paid for training. Length of training varies by department. All new employees start out at $9.00. Returnees receive a $.25 raise when they return the following year.
JOB DESCRIPTION AM FLEX
POSITION PLACEMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED. PARTICIPANTS ARE PLACED AHEAD OF TIME, BUT POSITION MAY CHANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EMPLOYER NEED. The Flex PM position is a rotating role between the Runner position and Laundry Attendant position, based on resort needs. Hours in each position may not be even. General cleaning is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed. The Runner is responsible for satisfying and fulfilling all guest requests that are communicated to them by the front desk staff after 4:00 pm. Other Runner duties include, but are not limited to: must keep all hallways clean and clear, supply the swimming pool and waterpark with clean pool towels, remove all dirty towels, and ensuring that all Runner supply areas are properly stocked at the beginning and end of their shift. The Runner is also responsible for making sure that all rollaway beds are made and that pillows are cased at the beginning of the shift. Lastly, Runners also must ensure that all boxes for Room Attendants' supplies are stocked as needed. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for supplying internal and external customers with the superior service of clean linens. The Laundry Attendants are held accountable for performing all daily duties of the laundry facility, including, but not limited to: sorting laundry, loading washers, unloading dryers, folding laundry, stocking all linens in an organized and clean environment, cleaning and safely maintaining the washers and dryers.

Retail Associates are responsible for greeting guests in a kind and courteous manner, assisting guests, answering questions, organizing and cleaning products, operating a cash register, and ensuring store is stocked and presentable for guests. General cleaning is required. Additional duties may be assigned by as needed.
POSITION PLACEMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED. PARTICIPANTS ARE PLACED AHEAD OF TIME, BUT POSITION MAY CHANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICIATIONS, AND EMPLOYER NEED. Ride Attendants are responsible for assisting customers onto amusement park rides, checking safety restraints, and operating amusement park rides or games. General cleaning is required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Shallow / Deep Water Lifeguard:
POSITION PLACEMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED. PARTICIPANTS ARE PLACED AHEAD OF TIME, BUT POSITION MAY CHANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICIATIONS, AND EMPLOYER NEED. Lifeguard duties include, but are not limited to: guarding deep and shallow water areas, ensuring park rules are followed, and keeping guests safe. Lifeguards must be able to assist guests with a smile. Training is provided after arrival. General cleaning is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed. During training, the pay rate is $12.00 per hour. If Lifeguards are Deep Guard Certified they will make an additional $0.50 per hour.
POSITION PLACEMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED. PARTICIPANTS ARE PLACED AHEAD OF TIME, BUT POSITION MAY CHANGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICIATIONS, AND EMPLOYER NEED. The Houseperson is responsible for stripping linens from hotel rooms, taking out garbage, maintaining the lobby and common areas, and interacting with guests and the general public. The Houseperson position is physically demanding and requires pushing heavy cleaning and laundry carts. General cleaning is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed.
Front Desk Agent:
The main responsibility of a hotel front desk clerk is to check guests in and out. They verify guests’ registration information and take
any further information required, such as identification and period of stay and take cash or process credit cards. Once they have gone
through all these procedures, they hand the room key to the guests and guide them to their rooms. When a guest is about to check
out, a front desk clerk will ensure that all dues are clear and the key is handed over.
Working at the front desk of a hotel can be quite rewarding. You get to meet people from different walks of life and stay busy at all times.
