HOUSING PROVIDED BY THE EMPLOYER

Bunker Run Housing is a licensed housing accommodation. This means that the Village of Lake Delton has inspected this housing and has approved it for J1 Students. It is REQUIRED to live in a Licensed Housing Accommodation provided by your employer. It is required to live in Host Company provided housing.

Once you sign the job offer, you are agreeing to the housing provided by your Host Company.
Business Hours 8 am - 6 pm - students should try to arrive between this time if possible. Students should arrive directly at Bunker Run Student Housing, NOT Kalahari Resorts. If they arrive after hours they should report to Bunker Run Student Housing and call security from the house phone. Security will let them in for the night but they will have to formally "check in" the next morning.


General Information:
• 4 students / room
• Community Kitchen, Living Room, Laundry Room, Vending Machines.
• Located directly behind Kalahari, less then 1/4 mile walk. However located right next to a beautiful bike/walking trail.
• No photos or website up at this time because it is BRAND new and just being finished.
This facility includes our office, laundry facility, and a community recreational room. The community room is an area for our occupants to gather, enjoy each others company, have fun, and relax.
Only four occupants per dorm unit One Bathroom in each room.Free Wi-Fi Internet access on entire property
Refrigerator and Microwave in each unit. Common Kitchen areas on the lower level. Laundry available onsite
Outdoor recreation areas. Bicycle parking. 24 hour Security and Monitoring. Near to all Dells Area Employers and Stores. There is a common kitchen area on each floor that has a stove, oven and sink. There are also tables. There is silverware available but you must provide your own cooking utensils-pots, pans, silverware, dish soap, towels, etc. In each room there are 4 twin sized beds with mattresses and a shelf and locker to store your items. Linens and a pillow are provided by your employer. There is a fridge, microwave and sink in the room.
Each student will get their own bed.
Couples are able to live together only during the off season when arranged in advance, but it is not guaranteed.
You may REQUEST to live with your friends in advance, however it is not guaranteed. There is NO alcohol allowed on property. Visitors will have to check in at the office.

Estimated Weekly Cost: USD 105.00 per person

Additional Cost Description: Payment Due At Check In = $150 deposit ( $100 refundable, $50 non-refundable admin and cleaning fee) + First two weeks rent ($210) + Last two weeks rent ($210). Total due at time of move in $570

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

As a Food & Beverage/ Retail Concessions Team Member and Cashier: provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation dining or take-out experience. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
This job requires someone with outstanding guest service skills, organizational skills, the ability to remain calm and friendly in stressful situations and the willingness to work with large groups of the public throughout your shift. You should be able to work independently and follow directions from your manager.

 

As a Restaurant Attendant, you may work in a variety of positions or may be assigned to a specific position upon arrival:
Busser: As a Busser provide friendly, responsive service to assist in keeping tables and restaurant areas clean and provide outstanding guest service.
Cashier: As a Cashier, provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation dining or take-out experience.                                                                                                    Food Runner: As a Food Runner, provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests.                                                                                                                        Host/Hostess: As a Host or Hostess; prompt recognition and providing a warm and friendly greeting with a smile and responsive service is essential to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. Manage the efficiency and timeliness of seating guests to their tables with their wishes in mind.

Theme Park Attendants: will monitor rides, games and areas throughout the Waterpark, ensure cleanliness of the Theme park and interact with guests.This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard and provide outstanding Guest Service. You should be able to work independently and follow directions from your manager. Since you will have interaction with the guests, Advanced English is required.

Lifeguard position: Supervise and guard all waterfront activities by any means necessary. Surveillance of any ongoing aquatic activities in your designated area is crucial to ensure you are ready to respond to any potential emergencies. This is where lifeguard training comes in handy, as CPR will be necessary in a dire situation. Aside from the safety of pool patrons, you will also find yourself taking care of your respective facility. This involves conducting daily checks of the surrounding pool areas for any hazards and safety issues, ensuring complete cleanliness and protection.

Lifeguards will attend 3 days of unpaid Red Cross Training prior to start of work as a lifeguard. All employees make minimum wage during regular training. Provide friendly customer service to waterpark guest, maintaining the standards of performance, service, hospitality, cleanliness, and safety in the pool/waterpark, responsible for communicating with guest on resort amenities and procedural standards. It is important to make sure that the parks are clean for our guests. 

Room Attendant or Housekeepers: responsabilities includes: to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for our guests. Our resort has 2-3 bedroom condominiums, suites, villas and cabins that require housekeeping duties. Housekeepers may be asked to help in our laundry department that will require the cleaning (washing and drying) of all hotel linens, replenish supplies and stock of linen through housekeeping closets throughout the hotel.
